Shirley G. Guertin, age 79, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness.
Shirley was born at home, in Nashua, NH, on September 9, 1940, daughter of the late Raymond L and P Geraldine Bartlett. She attended Temple Street School and graduated in 1958 from Mount St. Mary?s High School in Nashua, NH. She later went on to graduate from Nashua Business College and worked as an office manager for several businesses and medical practices. She retired from her late husband?s, Dr. Louis Paul Guertin?s, optometry business that resided on Main St. in Nashua, NH.
In Shirley?s retired years, she enjoyed her position of Secretary for the Homeowners Association of her retirement community. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and helping others.
Shirley is predeceased by her parents, a brother, Raymond and her husband, Dr. Louis Paul Guertin. She is survived by a sister, Susan B. Pippenger and her husband, Floyd Pippenger, of Florida, her brother, Arthur Bartlett and his wife Madeline Bartlett, her daughter, Donna Perlowski (Deneault) and her husband, Mark Perlowski, her son, Kevin Deneault, her son, Eric Deneault and his wife, Melissa Deneault, and children of her heart Bonnie and Randy Dumais. Grandchildren Alexa, Jessica, Rebecca, Kyle, Cara, Nick, Madison, Siena, Brandon, Ashley and Celine and many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Arrangements ? Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Shirley?s life that will be scheduled at a later date.
