  [S5] Obituary. Dolores M. Napolitan 1935 - 2014 Ludlow Dolores M. (Bava) Napolitan, 78, of Ludlow, died peacefully on January 5, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, she was a lifelong Ludlow resident where she was a communicant of the former St. Mary of the Assumption Church and a member of it's ladies guild. Dolores was a member of the Ludlow Baseball Association and member and past president of the Ludlow Football Booster Club. She also had a passion for nature, animals, knitting, painting, doing word searches; but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Dolores was the beloved wife of the late Robert "Bob" Napolitan who predeceased her in 2005; a loving mother to Donald Napolitan, of Worcester, and Donna Howe and her fiance Bob Gamache; a cherished grandmother to Rebecca Bragga and husband Michael, and Justine Jo Howe and fiance Matt Antunes; an adoring great-grandmother to Alexis Bragga and Amber Antunes; a dear sister to her brothers and sisters; and also leaves many loving extended family members and dear friends, including her cat Tinsel. Funeral services for Dolores will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00am in Ludlow Funeral Home followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 5:00-8:00pm and preceding the service on Thursday from 9:15-9:45am. In lieu of flowers and in honor of her love for animals, donations may be made in Dolores's memory to the Thomas J.
