BERTHA LAVOIE OBITUARY
....Lunenburg/Fitchburg
LUNENBURG/ FITCHBURG: Bertha I. (Jeffrey) Robichaud Lavoie, 96, formerly of Lunenburg and Fitchburg, died Monday, March 27, 2023 at Beaumont of Northbridge, Northbridge.
Bertha was born in Fitchburg, November 28, 1926, a daughter of Raymond H. and Aurore (Bourgault) Jeffrey and was a longtime resident of Fitchburg before moving to Lunenburg in 1991.
Bertha worked for twelve years at B.J. Wholesale Club in Leominster. Prior to that she had worked at Dijon and Weyerhaeuser Paper Companies in Fitchburg. She attended Our Lady of the Lake Church in Leominster, was a member of the Lunenburg Senior Citizens and enjoyed traveling.
She leaves her daughter, Linda A. Millette of Douglas; her son, Steve R. Robichaud of Gardner; four grandchildren, Melissa Asselin, Adam Izbicki, Ashley Cote, Justin Robichaud and six great grandchildren, Aliza Asselin. Julia Asselin, Josiah Asselin, Sarah Asselin, Jacob Izbicki and Scarlett Cote. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
She was the wife of Donald A. Robichaud who died in October 1981 and Wilfred H. Lavoie who died in January 1989. She was the sister of the late Raymond H. Jeffrey of Lunenburg, George Jeffrey of Westminster, Alice Boudreau and Rita Gamache both of Fitchburg and Eva Kroeter of Rindge, NH.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street, Leominster.
Bertha's family will receive relatives and friends at a visitation period Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 9:30 ? 10:30 AM at the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon Street, Fitchburg. To leave an online condolence please visit www.andersonfuneral.com.
