Laura M. Deveny, 83, of North Windham, CT passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in New Haven on March 13, 1934, the daughter of Llewellyn Vaughan and Helen (Reilly) Stoddard.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 41 years, Charles F. Deven Sr. "Pops"; her sister, Eugenia Sattler; brother, Llewellyn; and granddaughter, Alyssa Deveny.
She was retired, enjoyed traveling, was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She will be missed by her daughters, Cynthia, Peggy Gamache and husband, Steven, Dawn Morin and her husband, Dana; sons, Charles Jr. Deveny and his wife, Georgette of Yorkville, IL, James and his wife, Janna, Paul and his wife, Jacqueline. She will also be missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spouses, Shastia and husband, Tyler, Laurie Saxe and husband, Jason of Yorkville, IL, Douglas and wife, Jennifer, Brandi, Lindsay Pompa of Yorkville, IL, Christopher Brigham of Plano, IL, Ashley and husband, Zachary, Brandon, Shannon, Joseph, Michael, Darius, Colby, Shaye, Madison, Olivia, Travis, Johnathan, Gracie, Charles, Chloe, Keedon, Conner, Colton, Noah.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" at the Franco American Civic & Social Club, 116 Club Road, North Windham, CT on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm.
