Mathilda J. Rosenblum, 86
Born in Pittsburgh, services to be Friday
Services will be a 2 pm Friday at Shriver-Allison-Courtley-Weller-King Funeral Home for Mrs. Mathilda J. Rosenblum, 86, of 517 Gypsy Lane, who died Wednesday morning at Heritage Manor.
Mrs. Rosenblum, known as "Tillie," was born April 15, 1908 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Abraham and Fanny Sigal Meritzer, and moved to the area as a child. She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
She was a member of Rodef Sholom Temple, was past president of its Sisterhood and Mahoning County Women's Medical Auxillary, and was a member of national Council of Jewish Women, Brandeis University, Hadassah, and American Association of University Women.
She leaves her husband, Dr. Morris, whom she married in 1932; two sons, Atty. Jerald of Philadelphia and Richard of Liberty; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Mrs. Ruth Adelstein, is deceased.
Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home.
The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the temple, Heritage Manor or the donor's favorite charity.
