RAYMOND BODWELL OBITUARY Raymond "Raybo" Bodwell March 4, 1946 - December 20, 2022 Raymond "Raybo" Bodwell, 76, husband of Paula Conte Bodwell, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at McLeod Seacoast. Raybo was born on March 4, 1946, in New Haven, CT, son of the late Richard B. Bodwell and Mary Ann Mugford Bodwell. He was an Electronic Technician for 40 years at Norden Systems/Nortrop Grumman. Raybo was an avid outdoorsman who loved hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and riding his Harley. He also loved his New York Giants, NY Yankees, and UConn Women's Basketball. Raybo leaves behind his wife of 47 years, Paula Conte Bodwell; two brothers, Arthur Bodwell and Thomas Bodwell; four sisters, Roberta (Richard) Elpi, Lynda (Walter) Reeves, Sandra (Rich) Mayhew, and Denise (Jim) Gamache; one brother-in-law, Richard (Teri) Conte; two sisters-in-law, Carol Shaw and her deceased husband, Harvey, and Georgia (Gary Gage) Conte; numerous nieces, and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. Raybo is preceded in death by a nephew. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at McMillan-Small Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Horry County Fire and Rescue, 693 Forestbrook Road, Myrtle Beach, SC 29579.
