- [S5] Obituary.
Entered into rest on Sunday, January 31st, at the age of 73, due to complications of COVID-19. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Edna Tennity Slyck and nephew, Jon Slyck.
Sandy is survived by her brothers, David Slyck and Frank Slyck; special aunts, Jo Anne Dold and Mary Lou Sponn; sister-in-law, Linda Slyck; nieces, Laurel McMahan, Alycia Slyck; several cousins and friends.
Sandra was a polio survivor and embraced life at every opportunity. She was an enthusiastic fan of the Buffalo Bills and New York Yankees. Sandra had the natural talent and personality to make friends no matter what the situation, and her smiles were infectious to all those around her. Sandra was truly a warm heart whose impact will be missed by all her friends and family that loved her dearly.
A Prayer Service for Sandra will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, February 4th, at the Arndt Funeral Home 1118 Long Pond Road, followed by her Internment at the Mount Hope Cemetery. Her Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may donate to the March of Dimes in Sandra's memory
