Renee G. Gammache, 67, of Lancaster passed away peacefully at her home after a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Bessie L. Hampilos and the late George S. Hampilos.
Renee graduated from Manheim Township H.S. and later would go on to receive her bachelor?s degree at Rhode Island University in Nutritional Science. She founded and excelled with a successful bridal business, creating countless positive experiences for Lancaster brides.
Renee loved Newport, R.I., where her grandparents lived, and she cherished visiting. New York City was a frequent destination for her. She was fond of eloquent apparel and fine dining. Shopping and socializing with her friends were always a priority. She was a fantastic fine gourmet cook. Renee was loving and generous, who loved the lord and prayed to St. Irene, her patron saint.
Renee will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Bessie, her brother, Dr. Speros G. Hampilos, his companion Tammy Wallace of South Pasadena, FL, her nieces Tori Barrazueta, wife of Dr. Jeff Barrazueta, and Alexis Hampilos. She was preceded in death by her loving father, George S.
