William T. Denlinger, eighty-four, died at his home, 330 W. King St., at 6 a.m. today after a long illness. He was a retired building contractor who was instrumental in developing a large parts of the southeastern end of the city. He was a select councilman during the time when Frank C. Musser was mayor of the city. He was born in Manor Twp., a son of the late John and Catherine Thomas Denlinger and had resided in this city the past 45 years. He was a member of Covenant Evangelical United Brethren Church. There survive his wife, Ella Herr Denlinger; and these children, Mary, wife of Frank J. Gammache, Presidio, Texas; Ann, wife of A. L. Frank, York; Freeda, wife of John W. Lowell, this city; Fred, Hagerstown, Md.; Helen, wife of John B. Graybill Jr., Manor Ridge Drive; and Ruth, wife of John T. Hoover, Hagerstown, Md.; also 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; a sister, Miss Lillian Denlinger, Millersville; and a brother, Jacob T. Denlinger, this city.
