  Died: Frances Marie Luhm was born in Shelton, Washington on March 24, 1929 to Edward and Mary Buchanan and passed away on July 25, 2010 in Olympia, WA. She lived her entire life in the Mason and Thurston County area graduating from Irene S. Reed High School in the class of 1947. She married John L. Luhm on August 1, 1947. Frances worked as a bookkeeper for ITT Rayonier for 35 years retiring in 1989. She enjoyed reading, her family, and puttering in the garden. She is survived by her son, John Michael Luhm; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Herb Munson; grandchildren, Matt & Laura Munson, Tom and Leslie Munson, John Lewis and Jennifer Luhm; three great-grandchildren, Azura, Reece, and Evan; her sisters, Elsie Drebis, Hazel Smith, Betty Johnson, and Sandra Minor; and her brothers, Henry Buchanan and John Buchanan. At her request there will be a family gathering instead of funeral services. Frances and John, who preceded her in death last month, will be inurned at Tahoma National Cemetery.
