YOUNG, Georgia Irene (nee Clendening) - Peacefully on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, 3 days shy of her 86th birthday. Beloved wife of the late Clive (2006). Loving mother of Dwight and Alaine, Bill and Anne and Nancy Jo and Marcel Gamache. Dear grandmother and great - grandmother to Ryan, David and Leah (Carter and Jaxon), Donald and Donna (Colton), Gavin and Kat, Kirsten (Emma), Marc (Hannah) and Mathew. Sister of Bill Clendening and the late Lois Young. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Helen Ricker, Emma Young, Helen Young, Nancy Clendening and her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the staff at Garden City Manor for their excellent care. Irene's family will receive friends at the HAINE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 26 Ormond Street South, Thorold on Monday, September 10, 2012 from 7 -9 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 2: 00 p. m. Interment to follow.
