MARIE BLASKOW OBITUARY
Marie Blaskow, of Bristol passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children and grandchildren on July 28, 2022. She was 91. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey Marie and her family moved to Connecticut in the late 70's. She is survived by her four devoted children, Michelle Kaminski, James Kaminski Margaret Kaminski Gamache, and Marc Blaskow. Four cherished Grandchildren and two Great Grandchildren and four Sisters. Marie Kaminski Blaskow passed away peacefully on Thursday July 28, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren. She was 91 years old. Born in Jersey City where she attended school and lived until getting married in 1954. She moved to Lyndhurst where she raised her three children. She was an exceptional seamstress and homemaker.
She is predeceased by her parents, Nicholas and Margaret Musico and a brother, James Musico. Marie will be dearly missed by all.
Marie worked her entire life but always found time for her children, craft projects, and puzzle books. But her most enjoyable times was going to Daybreak at Farmington and winning bingo.
A private viewing will be held at Opacity Funeral Home 511 Washington Ave, Kenilworth, NJ, 07033 for her family in New Jersey.
Relatives and friends will be kindly invited to her viewing and service on August 6,2022 from 9 AM to 11 AM at DuPont Funeral Home 25 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, CT thence to her burial at Peacedale Cemetery at 115-199 James P. Casey Road, Bristol, CT. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Opacity Funeral Home. My family wishes to give a "special thanks" to the DuPont family for all of their help and support during our time of grief. We recommend the Dupont Funeral Home to all in Connecticut.
