Passed away at the CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Hôpital de La Baie, on May 20, 2026, at the age of 76, Mr. Alain Gamache, husband in first marriage of the late Mrs. Marie-Claire Tremblay and in second marriage of Mrs. Diane Painchaud, residing in La Baie.
In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, there will be no funeral service.
He was the son of the late Mr. Jean-Léon Gamache and the late Mrs. Stella Gagnon.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Painchaud; his stepdaughters: Alexandra Roy (Alain Montcalm), Julie Roy (Frédéric Bouchard) and Marie-Eve Roy; his grandchildren: Guillaume Paquet, Emmy St-Pierre, Antoine Bouchard, Jasmine Bouchard, Mia Simard and Zoé Simard; his great-grandchildren: Océanne, Logan and Billie; his brothers: the late Jean-Claude, Marcel, the late Daniel and Rénald.
He also leaves to mourn his cousin Jacques Gamache (Sylvie Gauthier), the members of the Painchaud family, as well as several nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
