Eliane Larocque Passed away on May 20, 2007 We regret to announce the death of Eliane Larocque on May 20 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by her parents, Oliva and Émile Tremblay; two brothers: Guy and Paul-Henri Tremblay and by a sister Lina Martel. She is survived by her husband, Maurice; 3 sons: Jean husband of Suzanne of Opasatika, Normand husband of Denise and Léon husband of Doris all of Ottawa; 3 daughters: Lucienne Larocque of Moonbeam; Diane Dubé wife of Rodrigue and Mariette Richard all of Kapuskasing; 2 sisters: France Gamache of Opasatika and Gilberte Lamontagne wife of Laurent of Kapuskasing; 6 brothers: Gilles husband of Jeannine, Lucien husband of Gilberte, Daniel husband of Louisianne, Fernand husband of Diane all of Opasatika, J. Emile from Kapuskasing and Gaëtan Tremblay husband of Louise from Thunder Bay; a brother-in-law Léo Martel and a sister-in-law Denise Tremblay all of Opasatika; as well as 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The funeral mass took place on Thursday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m. in the St-Antoine-de-Padoue church in Opasatika with Father Adrien Noël officiating. The family will appreciate donations to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. --- Eliane Tremblay Larocque of Opasatika, died at Sensenbrenner Hospital on May 20, 2007. Mrs. Larocque was born on Sept. 7, 1930 in Opasatika. She enjoyed knitting. She is survived by her husband Maurice; three sons: Jean (Suzanne) of Opasatika, Normand (Denise) and Léon (Doris), all of Ottawa; three daughters Diane (Rodrigue) Dubé, Mariette Richard, all of Kap and Lucienne Larocque of Moonbeam; sisters France Gamache of Opasatika and Gilberte (Laurent) Lamontagne of Kap; and six brothers: Gilles (Jeannine), Lucien (Gilberte), Daniel (Louisianne), Fernand (Diane), all of Opasatika, J. Emile of Kap and Gaëtan (Louise) Tremblay of Thunder Bay. Also surviving are one brother-in-law Léo Martel of Opasatika and two sisters-in-law: Denise Tremblay of Opasatika and Lise Paquin of Timmins; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mrs. Larocque was predeceased by her parents Oliva and Émile Tremblay; two brothers Guy and Paul-Henri Tremblay and one sister, Lina Martel. Father Adrien Noël will lead the funeral service May 24, 2007 at 11 am at St Antoine de Padoue. Cremation will take place at the Hillcrest Crematorium Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
