Bertrand H. Thibault -- November 14, 1929 - November 25, 2005 -- Bertrand H. Thibault., 76, of Desmond Avenue in Somerset for the past forty four years passed away Friday, November 25, 2005 at his residence. He was the husband of fifty-three years to Anette C. (Michaud) Thibault. Born in Fall River, Ma on November 14, 1929 the son of the late Henri and Anna (Boule) Thibault. Mr. Thibault was a graduate of Diman Regional Technical Vocational High School class of 1949, he then joined the United States Naval Reserve until 1956, after serving in the reserves he went to work as an electrician for the former Holland Electric Company in Fall River for a few years and then went to work for forty years as a first class electrician for the Eastern Edison Company he retired in 1991. He was a communicator of Saint Louis de France in Swansea, and a life member and past commander of the Taunton Power Squadron, he was a handyman, and enjoyed spending time with his family. Survivors beside his wife of fifty three years are five daughters Elaine DeMoranville of Somerset, MA Claire Barrar of Somerset, MA Rita Mello of Somerset, MA Lisa Britland of Denmark, Maine Jocelyn Casey of Somerset, MA of Somerset, MA three sons Rene Thibault of Somerset, MA Paul Thibault of Swansea, MA Marc Thibault of Somerset, MA four sisters Constance Arruda of Port Richie, Florida Germaine St. Rock of Fall River, MA Jacqueline Gamache of Middleboro, MA Anne-Marie Madden of Westerly, RI two brothers Leopold Thibault of Tiverton, RI Roland Thibault of Somerset, MA sixteen grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Annette Caron, Cecile Fusco, and Conrad Thibault.His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at 9am from the Hathaway Community Home for Funerals, 900 Buffinton St., Somerset, MA followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10am in Saint Louis de France Church 56 Buffinton St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited to attend, burial to follow with Military Honors in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday, November 28, 2005 from 4-8pm.
