1922 - 2005 At the Notre-Dame de Fatima hospital in La Pocatière, on December 17, 2005, at the age of 83 years and 5 months, died Mr. René St-Amant, first husband of the late Mrs. Simone St- Pierre and in second marriage of lady Lucille Landry. He lived in La Pocatière and formerly in Saint-Onésime. Family members will receive relatives and friends at the Marius Pelletier Inc. funeral home, 409 9th Street, La Pocatière on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Wednesday, day of the funeral, from 12 p.m. to 1:50 p.m. The religious service will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 2 p.m., in the Ste-Anne-de-la-Pocatière cathedral and from there to the crematorium. The ashes will be buried later in the cemetery of Saint-Onésime. He is survived by his wife Lucille; his children: Carmelle (Daniel Boudrias), Clément (Henriette Gamache), Ghislain (Diane Laboissonnière), Richard (Sylvie Ouellet), Ginette (Réjean Richer), Marcel (Paule Bélanger); his grandchildren: Kathleen, Marie-Pier, Mélanie, Daphnée, Cassandre, Olivier, Ève (their father Pierre Diguer), Mathieu and Philippe. He was the brother and brother-in-law of: late Léo (late Marie-Anna Paradis), Léda (late Apolinaire Tremblay), late Anita (late Camille Lemieux), Lucien (late Agathe Lévesque), Simone (late Charles-Eugène Hudon ), late Roland (late Marie-Marthe Soucy), Sylvio (Jeannine Bergeron)f and from the Landry family: Jean-Charles (Yolande Duval), Rosaire, Marcel (Marie-Louise Chenard), late Jeanne-D'Arc (Alcide Dionne), Dolores (Yvon Langlais), late Lucien (late Raymonde Chevrier).
