DEATH NOTICE MRS. DARQUISE FORTIER of Montebello, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at the age of 80, beloved wife of Julien Fortier, daughter of the late Joseph Simon and of the late Marguerite Mathurin. She was the beloved mother of Luc W. (Lise Major), Guy (Nicole Morand), Andrée-Lyne (Roger Carrière), François (Monique Martin), Lucie (Alain Gamache) and Lucette (Gérard Perron); the adored grandmother of 10 grandchildren, the great-grandmother of 2 great-grandchildren and the dear sister of Rollande (late Paul-Émile Lavictoire), Madeleine (late Maurice Descoeurs) and Raymond (Michèle Mantha ). She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Also survived by many sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Complexe Funéraire de la Petite-Nation Shields Berthiaume Inc, 101 Principale Street, St-André-Avellin, Quebec, 819-983-6616. The funeral will take place at Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours Church in Montebello on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11 a.m. The family will be present at the church from 10 a.m. to receive your condolences, burial in the parish cemetery.
