Constance Roy -- At Laval Hospital in Quebec City, on September 4, 2008, at the age of 66 years and 2 months, Mrs. CONSTANCE ROY, wife of Mr. André Poulin, domiciled in the parish of St-Alphonse of Thetford, passed away. . She was the mother of Stéphane Poulin spouse of Nathalie Racine and of Vicky Poulin spouse of Frédéric Paré. She was the grandmother of Gentiane Larose, Eve Paré, Thomas Poulin and Marie Paré. She was the daughter of the late J. Maurice Roy and the late Eva Gamache, sister of Claudette Roy wife of André Poiré and Pierre Roy. She also leaves her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Poulin family as well as many other relatives and friends. The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, September 9 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. as well as Wednesday the day of the funeral starting at 9 a.m. at Résidence funéraire Gamache & Nadeau ltée, 590, rue St-Alphonse Sud , Thetford Mines. The religious service will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 10 at 11 a.m. at St-Alphonse Church in Thetford Mines. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Quebec Cystic Fibrosis Association (2750 Ste-Foy Road, Suite 22, Quebec, G1V 1V6) would be greatly appreciated. The family wishes to sincerely thank the nursing staff at Hôpital Laval and in particular Dr. Blackburn for the good care provided to Mrs. Constance Roy Poulin. The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Maison Gamache & Nadeau ltée, a member of the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec.
