ARTHUR G. RICHOTTE -- June 11, 1997-- East Providence -- ARTHUR G. RICHOTTE, 69, of South Broadway, a driver salesman for Pepsi-Cola Co. for 48 years, retiring in 1993, died Tuesday at home. He was the husband of Loretta (Hall) Duarte-Richottte. Born in West Warwick, a son of the late George and Hosana (Salvas) Richotte, he had lived in East Providence most of his life. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Rehoboth American Legion. Mr. Richotte was a member of the Rehoboth Senior Citizens, and the Rhode Island Chapter of the New England Cribbage Association. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Diane Chase of Richmond; a son, Robert Richotte of East Greenwich; four stepdaughters, Shirley Amaral of East Providence, Linda Smith of Bristol, Beverly Fernandes of Lighthouse Point, Fla., and Marion Mowry of Coventry; three stepsons, Frank Duarte in Maine, Anthony S. Duarte Jr. of Duxbury, Mass., and Arthur W. Morris in Alaska; a sister, Doris Lavoie of Coventry; 33 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He was the stepfather of the late Julia Duarte and brother of the late Veronica Lavoie and Dorothy Gamache. The funeral will be held Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Brendan Church, Turner Avenue, Riverside. Burial with military honors will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
