Jacques Plourde 1935 - 2013 "I'll look like I'm dead and it won't be true..." The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Surrounded by the love of his family, in Quebec, on August 22, 2013, a few minutes after a magnificent electrical storm as he loved them so much, passed away Jacques Plourde, civil engineer, extraordinary father and grandfather, philosopher and man of action, nature lover and great traveler. According to his wishes, there will be no funeral. The family will welcome relatives and friends for a gathering in his memory on Saturday, August 31 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Musée national des Beaux-Arts du Québec (Salle Paul-Rainville) 1, Parc-des-Champs-de-Bataille Québec G1R 5:3 A tribute in his memory will take place at 3:00 p.m. He was the adored father of Suzie (Guy Fitzgerald), France (Jacques Rouleau), Claire (Jean Bergeron) and Gloria (Marc Boivin); the spouse and traveling companion of Renée Dufresne; the son of the late Louis Adélard Plourde and the late Fleurette Deschênes. Besides his wife and daughters, he is survived by his cherished grandchildren: Gabrielle, Antoine, Sophie, Hugo, Nicolas, Francis, Édelène, François and Léa; Renée's daughters: Monique (Benoît Raymond) and France (Éric Pilotte); Renée's grandchildren whom he loved and watched grow up: Mathieu, Marc-André, Clothilde, Émilie, Charles and Olivier. He also leaves to mourn his goddaughter Élaine Plourde; his brother André (Marielle Gamache); his sisters: Lorraine and Yolande; the mother of his daughters Yolande Dumont; many nephews and nieces, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, colleagues and colleagues as well as many very dear friends. The family wishes to thank all those who supported Jacques and his loved ones in this ordeal.
