Maurice A. Morin, 78, died peacefully Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, surrounded by his wife and family, after a lengthy illness. Mr. Morin was born May 1, 1928, in Nashua, son of the late Joseph Morin and Eva (Gamache) Morin. He was the husband of Gloria Theriault, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. He married the love of his life Sept. 1, 1952. Mr. Morin worked at Sanders Associates in Nashua for 10 years and for Raytheon Co. in the Missile System Division for 21 years. He was an engineer for the Prototype Fabrication Center where some of his work was Published: and patented. He served in the Army from 1948-53, at which time he was honorably discharged with multiple medals including the Bronze Star. He served in the Korean War. Mr. Morin was a member of the Nashua Elks, B.P.O.E. 702. He enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, baking bread, tinkering with his computer, soaking in his pool and spending time crafting toys for his grandchildren in his woodshop. Mr. Morin graduated from Assumption High School and went on to graduate from Assumption College in 1948. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jayne Morin of Litchfield; three daughters and sons-in-law, Marie and Rick Kelley of Harrisburg, Pa., Maurine and Steve Judge of Concord, and Lyn and Tom Shea of Medway, Mass.; 11 grandchildren and was awaiting the arrival of his first great-grand child in February; a sister and brother-in-law, Collette and Leo Grenon of Bedford; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Gerald and Leona Morin of Nashua, and Norman ?Bill? Morin of Roy, Wash. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of the arrangements.
