Moreau Lillian Date of death: Wednesday August 6, 1997 source The Standard Times, New Bedford, MA, USA 1997-08-08 FALL RlVER -- Lillian (Moreau) Berard, 83, of Bishop Eid Apartments on Quequechan Street died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 1997, at Saint Anne Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lucien V. Berard. Born in Canada, the daughter of the late Fred J. Moreau and Emma (Raineville) Saucier, she lived in Fall River most of her life. A machine operator in the garment industry, retiring in 1979, she was employed by the former Fall River Manufacturing Company. Survivors include a son, Joseph V.L. Berard of Swansea; a daughter, Lucille Inserro of West Islip, Long Island, N.Y.; a sister, Flora Gamache of Pleasanton, Calif.; a stepbrother, Roland Saucier of Fairfield, Conn.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by the Hebert-Hathaway Funeral Home, 945 S. Main St., Fall River.
