Malo, Daniel - 1926 - 2015 - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Friday November 13, 2015 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of the late Anita Malo (née-Rochon) (1993). Loving father of Robert Malo of Winnipeg, Michel Malo (Joanne), Réjean Malo (Suzanne) and Thérèse Madore (Richard) all of Timmins and of the late Guy Malo (2003). Cherished grandfather of Jimmy Malo and Julie Wood; Darryl and Robert Jr. Malo; Shane and Patricia Malo and Jason and Domenic Malo. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, his brother Gaëtan Malo of Rouyn, QC, his sisters Lucienne Caya of Villemarie, Fernande Rocheleau of Niagara Falls, Annette Bernard of Hamner, Françoise MacLean of Camploops B. C., Emilienne St-Onge of North Bay and Angèle Gamache of Montréal; his brother-in-law Roger Rochon (Lorraine) of Timmins and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Gabriel and Roland Malo and by two sisters Régina Caron and Jeannine Lavoie. Funeral service will be held at St-Dominique Church on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home 705-268-4488 Remembrance donations made to the Good Samaritan Inn or to the Lord's Kitchen would be greatly appreciated.
