Régent Lord 1934 - 2008 At the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli Residential Centre, on November 6, 2008, at the age of 74, passed away Mr. Régent Lord, husband of Lady Lauraine Lemelin. Retired from Canadian National (CN), he was the son of the late Dame Octavie Pelletier and the late Mr. Philippe Lord. He lived in Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, formerly in Tourville. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Jocelyn (France Jobin), Marie-Claude (Michel Vaillancourt), Julie, Jean-Robert, Janin (Marlène Gamache), his grandchildren: Jean-François Pelletier (Marie- Hélène), Marie-Michèle Pelletier (Samuel) and their father Denis Pelletier, Loïc Lord, Cristin Lord. He was the brother and brother-in-law of: late Raymond (Marthe Bossinotte), Irenée (Yvette Leblanc), late Honorat (late Ghislaine Laplante), Doriva (Thérèse Leduc), the late Jasmin (Henriette Beaulieu and her spouse René Bordeleau), Laurier (Annette Pelletier), Liguori (Carmen Tremblay), Véronique (Claude Francoeur). He also leaves to mourn his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Lemelin family as well as his nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Center d'hébergement for their good care and support. The members of his family will welcome you at the funeral home De la Durantaye et Fils 4, chemin du Roy Ouest Saint-Jean-Port-Joli on Monday, the day of the funeral, from 10:30 a.m. The religious service will be celebrated on Monday, November 10, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the church of Saint-Jean-Port-Joli; and from there to the crematorium.
