THE AOUST FAMILY regrets to announce the death of MADAME LUCIENNE D'AOUST, born Laviolette, formerly of Buckingham, who passed away peacefully at her home in Gatineau, on Wednesday, February 5, 2003, at the age of 71. She was the common-law spouse of Régent Desormeaux and the daughter of the late Xavier Laviolette and the late Sophie Joanisse. She was predeceased by her husband René D'Aoust. She is survived by her 9 children: Florian (Chantal Charbonneau), Ginette, Francine, Mireille (Claude Bastien), Claire, Lucie, Julie (Robert Sauvé), Normand (Roxanne Labelle), all from Buckingham and Gaétan (Joyce Bernard) of Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette. Loving grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, also survived by her brother Mathias (Lorraine Bangs) of North Bay and her sister Yvette (late Jean Gamache). She was also predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Alice, Rosalie, Philippe, Roméo, Noël, Lucien, Victor, Thérèse and Euclid. She leaves several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, as well as her in-laws Desormeaux. The family would like to sincerely thank Régent (her spouse) for taking such good care of her until the very last minute of her life. We would also like to thank the CLSC de Gatineau home support staff for the good care they provided him throughout his illness. A religious service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2003 at 2:00 p.m., at St-Grégoire-de-Nazianze Church, Buckingham. Visiting hours at BRUNET FUNERAL HOME, 115 Maclaren East, Buckingham, Saturday beginning at 12 p.m. (noon).
