George B. Gamache, 81, died at the Miller hospital in Duluth on June 14, 1945. He was born in Anoka, Minn., on September 9, 1864. His parents moved to Range, Wis., when he was a few years old and he lived there until 1900. He then move to Duluth where he was employed by the city public works division and the American Steel and Wire Co. In 1920 he returned to his farm at Range where he farmed until 1932. Since then he has resided in Duluth at the home of his daughters, Mrs. Chas. Paquin and Mrs. Edw. Durand. He was married to Mary Blanche Phillips in 1887. She preceded him in death in 1932. He is survived by four children; Roy, Mrs. Chas Paquin, and Mrs. Edw. Durand of Duluth, and Mrs. Wm Pimple of Almena, Wisc.; 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Burial was at the Range Catholic cemetery on June 16, Rev. Fr. Bohle of Turtle Lake officiating. Amery Free Press June 1945
