Rose-Aimée Laplante -- At Résidence St-Alexandre in Thetford, on August 24, 2010, passed away, at the age of 98 years and 10 months, Dame ROSE-AIMÉE LAPLANTE, wife of the late Thomas Moreau, formerly residing in the St-Alphonse de Thetford Mines parish. She was the mother of Carmen Moreau wife of the late Normand Lamontagne, Marie-Marthe Moreau wife of Maurice Byrns, Damien Moreau husband of Colette Genest and Lisette Moreau wife of Gérard Delisle; the grandmother of Michel Lamontagne spouse of Nicole Thivierge, Renauld Lamontagne spouse of Chantal Desharnais, Ruth Lamontagne, Gary Byrns spouse of Chantal Paquet, Steven Byrns spouse of Doris Nadeau, Nancy Byrns, André Moreau spouse of Chantal Bergeron, Anne Moreau spouse of Robert Laventure, Paule Delisle spouse of Mario Gamache, Alain Delisle spouse of Nathalie Lapierre and Serge Delisle spouse of Isabelle Couture, as well as the great-grandmother of 27 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Thérèse Carrier wife of the late Alcide Laplante and joins her brothers and sisters, late Stanislas Laplante wife of the late Bertha Couture, late Joseph Laplante husband of the late Rose Langlais, late Philipe Laplante husband of the late Diana Laprise, late Alphonse Laplante husband of the late Juliette Marceau, late Lydia Laplante wife of the late Albert Lemieux, late Maria Laplante wife of the late Borromée Giroux, late Ernest Laplante and late Rose-Anna Laplante wife of the late Aimée Lessard, as well as her brothers-in-law and sisters the late Albert Moreau husband of the late Bernadette Côté, late Eugène Moreau husband of the late Alma Bélanger, late Ovila Moreau, late Alfred Moreau husband of the late Yvette Brulotte, late Florida Moreau, late Simone Moreau wife of late Wilfrid Vallières and late Claudia Moreau wife of late Louis Lehoux. The religious service of Dame Rose-Aimée Laplante Moreau was celebrated on Monday August 30 at the St-Alphonse church in Thetford Mines. As expressions of sympathy, a donation to the Thetford Hospital Foundation (Pavillon St-Alexandre) (1717, Notre-Dame Est, Thetford Mines, G6G 2V4, www.fondationhopitalregionthetford.ca), would be greatly appreciated by the family.
