LAJOIE Denise Date of death: Friday May 9, 2008 source La Presse, Montreal, QC 2008-05-11 PARENT (née Lajoie), Denise 1927 - 2008 On May 9, at the CHSLD Biermans in Montreal, passed away after a long illness, Mrs. Denise Lajoie-Parent, wife of the late Lucien Parent. She is survived by her children Pierre (Micheline Gamache), Sister Lise, FMA, Guy and Lucie, her granddaughter Julie, her brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Complexe funéraire Urgel Bourgie, St-François d'Assise, 6700, Beaubien Est, Montreal www.urgelbourgie.com on Sunday, May 11 from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m., as well as Monday, May 12 starting at 10 a.m. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at Ste-Claire Church, Ste-Claire Street. Donations to the CSSS de la Pointe de l'île Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. The family would like to warmly thank all the staff at Résidence Biermans, especially Block 1A-B, for the excellent care and affection given to our mother.
