Lajoie, Isabelle 1924-2015 At the Foyer St-Joseph in Saint-Basile, on March 5, 2015, at the age of 90 years and 11 months, passed away Mrs. Isabelle Lajoie, domiciled in St-Basile, daughter of the late Mr. Élude Lajoie and the late Lady Olive Levesque. She is survived by her sisters, Gisèle Couturier (late Roland) of Edmundston, Germaine (Ronald Campagna) of St-Basile and Marie-Mai (Raymond Gamache) of Edmundston, as well as several nephews and nieces. She now rests with her parents and her sisters, Marthe, Corinne and Lorraine. The funeral of Mrs. Isabelle Lajoie will take place at 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the church of Saint-Basile, with interment in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Lajoie's family will receive condolences at St-Basile Church beginning at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. funeral time. Ms. Lajoie was a member of the Society of Retired French Teachers of Madawaska. In his memory, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Canada.
