Omer Lafrance Trois-Pistoles 1909 - 2016 ?Just when someone near me said, 'He's gone. », others seeing him coming towards them exclaim with joy « here he is! At the CISSS des Basques de Trois-Pistoles, on January 15, 2016, passed away, at the age of 106 years and 1 month, Mr. Omer Lafrance, husband of the late Mrs. Yvonne D'Amours. He was the son of the late Dame Adéline Rioux and the late Mr. Cyrias (Cyrice) Lafrance residing in Trois-Pistoles formerly of St-Simon. He is survived by his children: Réal (late Lorraine Daris) (France Gamache), André, Lorraine (Roland Vaillancourt), late Irène (Benoît Côté), late Monique, Marielle and Jeannine; his grandchildren: Guy, Yves, Éric, Francis, Josée, France, Frédéric and Hélène; his great-grandchildren: François, Myriam and Mike; his sister-in-law lady Fernande Lemay (late Gérard Lafrance) and all the members of the Lafrance and D'Amours families. The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 22, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Résidence funéraire Jean Fleury et Fils 195, Notre-Dame Ouest in Trois-Pistoles The religious service will be celebrated on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Notre-Dame-des-Neiges church in Trois-Pistoles and from there to the parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Résidence funéraire Jean Fleury & Fils Ltée 195, Notre-Dame Ouest in Trois-Pistoles Saturday, the day of the funeral, the funeral home will open at 9 a.m. The family would like to sincerely thank the staff on the 2nd floor of the Trois-Pistoles Hospital for the good care provided. Special thanks to Dr Camilien Anctil, our father's family doctor for over 30 years. As expressions of sympathy, you can compensate for the sending of flowers, with a donation to the Fabrique de Trois-Pistoles or to the CISSS des Basques, palliative care unit.
