  [S5] Obituary. HUGHES, Imelda Rose February 20, 1925 ? March 10, 2014 It is with heavy hearts that Imelda's family announces her passing on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the age of 89 years. Left to cherish her memory are: her sons: Ron (Nalda) Hughes, Ken (Randall) Hughes; daughter, Janice Hughes; grandchildren: Kelley Hughes, Ellis, Eryn and Thomas Hughes; siblings: Gilberte (Phillipe) Gaumont, Simone Lamoureux, Lena (Earl) Morin, Denise Gamache, Rene (Linda) Normandeau, Mariette Normandeau, Lucien (Lucille) Normandeau, Sue (Michael) Lamash, and Dan (Carmen) Normandeau; as well as numerous family and many dear friends. Imelda was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Peter. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 4820 Meridian Street, Sherwood Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 14, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, Alberta with Fr. Pierre Ducharme presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation, HRIF ? East, 1-020, 1A, University Campus NW, Edmonton, Alberta, T6G 9Z9.
