BENNETT William Charles Date of death: Tuesday April 9, 2013 source The Edmonton Journal, AB 2013-04-12 BENNETT, William Charles Bill September 1, 1925 - April 9, 2013 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mr. William Bennett at the age of 87 years. Bill will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Geraldine Gerry, six children: Stuart (Terry), Joan (Sid) Gamache, Ralph (Barb), Laura, Rob, and Gwen (John) Huzyk, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill will also be missed by his brothers Jim, Ray (Kay) and Bob (Marian) and many other relatives and friends. Bill was predeceased by his son Jack and by six sisters and two brothers. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Sunday, April 14, 2013 between 3: 00 p. m. and 6: 00 p. m. at the South Side Memorial Chapel, 8310 - 104 Street. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish, 9040 - 95 Avenue, on Monday, April 15, 2013 at 11: 00 a. m. with Reverend Paul Kavanagh celebrant. Bill will then be laid to rest at the Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Sherwood Park. Donations in Memory of Bill may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
