Lawrence Kelly (1922 - 2015) Surrounded by his family, at the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital, on Sunday March 29, 2015, at the age of 92, passed away peacefully Lawrence Kelly, husband of the late Marie-Anne Brideau. He lived in Brantville. Born in Chatham on September 6, 1922, he was the son of the late Edmond Kelly and the late Roseanna Sonier. He is survived by his 10 children: Delcia (Albert Thibodeau), Cathy (late Don Lamothe), Shirley (late Donnie Acker), Roseanna (Réginald Breau), Joséphine (Norbert Lanteigne), Célina (Robert Gamache), Yvon (Clarisse ?Foune? Mazerolle), Jacqueline (Réjean Bouchard), Anne-Marie (Arthur Doiron) and Israel (Marina Savoie); 29 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; six godchildren: Joseph Mallais, Robert "youyou" Savoie, Alex Kelly, Bernadette Gay, Amanda Kelly and Patricia Landry, as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins. He was the last living member of his immediate family. A daughter, Celina; one son, Claude; one brother, Dan (late Thérèse); one sister, Béatrice Kelly Mallais; he was predeceased by an adoptive brother, Jeffrey Mallais and a half-sister, Georgina Doucette. The family will receive relatives and friends as of 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, at Robichaud & Son Funeral Home, 3875 Principale Street, Tracadie-Sheila. The funeral will be held at Saint-Louis de Brantville Church on Wednesday, April 1, at 1 p.m. Visiting hours: Tuesday, March 31, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 1, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The family would like to thank the staff of the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital for good care.
