GAMACHE, SHELLY EILEEN, 45, of Seminole, died Thursday (March 10, 2005) at home. She was born in Bowerston, Ohio, and came here in 1994 from Carrollton, Ohio. She worked as a registered nurse for Morton Plant Breast Imaging Center. She was an Army veteran and a member and secretary of the Christian Motorcycle Association Lambs That Roar Chapter. She was Christian and attended Assemblies of God Church, Seminole. Survivors include her husband, Ronald George; a son, Corey Gotshall, Carrollton; three stepsons, Mark Gamache, serving in Iraq; and Stephen and Jonathan Gamache, both of Topeka, Kan.; three stepdaughters, Betheny Joy Gamache, Topeka; Christina Ellen Gamache, Oklahoma; and Rebekah Curran, Richmond, Va.; a brother, James Hidey, Dennison, Ohio; a sister, Marlene Titus, Madison, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Shelly Eileen Gamache, 44, formerly of Carrollton, O., died March 10, 2005, at 11:15 p.m. in her home in Seminole, Fla., after a long illness.
She was born to the late Dean E. and Florence Cotter Hidey on Oct. 13, 1959, in Dennison, O.
Shelly married Ron E. Gamache in June 1995 in Seminole, Fla., where he resides.
Other surviving family members are one son, Corey and wife Megan Gotshall of Carrollton; one sister: Mrs. Frank (Marlene) Titus of Madison, O.; one brother, James and wife Linda Hidey of Uhrichsville, O.; six stepchildren; and four grandchildren, Marcus and Bobbie Gotshall and Devin and Connor Curran.
Deceased family members are parents, Dean E. and Florence Cotter Hidey, and sister, Irene Dixon.
Shelly was a graduate of Conotton Valley High School, Class of 1978. She became a registered nurse after graduating from Kent State University in Tuscarawas County. Shelly served her country in the United States Army, retiring as captain from the Gulf War. She was a member of the Seminole Assembly of God.
As to her wishes, she has been cremated and will be buried at a graveside service in Longview Cemetery in Bowerston, O., on Saturday, April 9, 2005, at 2 p.m. The Rev. John Johnson will be officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Bowerston, O.
