She will be missed by her daughters Thelma Tait (Bob) and Fran Gamache (Rick), her grandchildren Janna, Michael and Randy, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Marvin and son John. Peggy?s roots go back to the early days of Gibson?s Landing. Her parents, John Hicks and Myrtle Armour, moved to Gibsons at the turn of the century. She had many delightful stories of growing up here. Peggy was married to Marvin for 66 years. She made home for Marvin and her children at various logging camps up and down the coast and throughout the province, but Gibsons was always their home base. She was a talented musician, playing the accordion, violin and piano. She quilted, knit and did a variety of needlework. She loved her family and treasured her friends.
