Hamel Jacques Mme Cécile - 1938-2019 At her home following a long illness, on July 14, 2019, at the age of 81, passed away Mme Cécile Hamel, wife of the late Mr. Gérard Jacques. (Retired detective sergeant from the City of Granby). She is survived by her daughters: Sylvie (Yvan Gamache) and Chantal, her grandchildren: Carl Leduc (Kari-Anne Grenier Allaire), baby Logan, Marilyn Leduc (Louis-Collin Roy), Brigit Leduc (Francis Roy) . She also leaves her brothers: Gérard, Jacques (Ginette), Fernand (Francine), her sister Hélène (late Jacques Messier). Sylvie would like to sincerely thank Johanne Gamache (Ms. Hamel's dedicated attendant), Dr. Caroline Loignon for her human, warm, comforting presence and her professionalism for the good care provided, as well as nurse Anie Fontaine (Ti-boutte). Thank you to all the members of the CLSC team as well as La Maison aide aux aides. Chantal particularly wishes to thank her sister and her brother-in-law Sylvie and Yvan (Natural caregivers) for having accompanied Mom for more than 4 years. The cremation took place at the Girardot & Ménard crematorium. The family will welcome you on Monday, July 22 from 3 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. in the living room of the Girardot & Ménard Funeral Complex. A short tribute will follow in the salon at the same location at 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to La Maison aide aux Aidants would be appreciated.
