Fortin (Mrs. Yolande Guérin) On December 30, 2014, Mrs. Yolande Guérin, wife of Mr. Lionel Fortin, residing in Chicoutimi, passed away at the Chicoutimi Hospital, at the age of 93 years and 8 months. She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Marie Savard and the late Mr. Kelly Guérin. The family will welcome relatives and friends on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Alliance funéraire du Royaume, Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi 520, boul. Saguenay East, Chicoutimi A celebration of the Word will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of the 5th Season, Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. She will be cremated at the Kingdom's Funeral Alliance crematorium and the ashes will be interred at a later date in the La Baie Community Cemetery. Besides her husband, Mr. Lionel Fortin, she is survived by her daughter Nicole Fortin. She went to join her son Denis. She was the grandmother of: Alain Leblond (Nicole Dufour); the godmother of Patrice (Nathalie Lavoie), François, Philippe (Lison Bergeron); the great-grandmother of: Frédérique and Marie-Pier Leblond, Lisa-Marie and Marc-André Leblond, Noémie and Charles Leblond. She was the sister of: Rose-Blanche, Jeaninne, Lucette (Jean-Paul Michaud), Georgette (André Beaudoin), late Yvonne (Roger Gamache), late Lucille, Colette (Marc Simard), Lise (André Lajoie), late Raymond , late Léo, late Gérard, late Laurent and late Yvon (Suzanne Dufour). She also leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Marie-Paule Fortin (late Robert Tremblay), as well as many nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Résidence du Fjord and the Foyer St-François, as well as Dr. Gaëtan Gaudreault for the good care provided to Ms. Guérin. For those wishing to make donations, a volunteer from the Fondation de ma vie will be present at the show to collect them.
