Gélinas, André 1935-2019 At the Maison Michel-Sarrazin, on October 28, 2019, at the age of 84 years and 5 months, passed away Mr. André Gélinas, spouse of Mrs. Claire Laflamme. He was the husband of the late Madame Pierrette Dufour. He lived in Quebec. The family will receive condolences, in the presence of the body, at the Center funéraire du Plateau 693, avenue Nérée-Tremblay Québec, G1N 4R8 on Sunday, November 10, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. A Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated in the parlor on same day at 12 p.m. Besides his spouse, Mrs. Claire Laflamme, he is survived by his children: Bruno (Jacynthe Laliberté), Charles and Christine; his granddaughters: Catherine and Jasmine Gamache and their father Claude Gamache. He was the brother of Lise (Gerry Roy), the late Pierre, the late Michelle and the late Josée; his nephew Éric (Marie-Claude Gagnon) and his nieces: Kathleen (Andrew Brookes) and Constance Roy. He was successively a professor in the Department of Political Science (public administration) at Laval University, co-founder of ÉNAP as the first Director of Studies, Director of Research at the Ministry of Justice, Special Projects Advisor to of the Secretary of the Treasury Board, Advisor to the General Secretariat associated with Administrative Reform and Senior Employment, Executive Council, Director of the Center for Political and Administrative Studies of Quebec (CÉPAQ) (ENAP) and Assistant Secretary for Administrative Reform Ministry of Executive counsel. He has published numerous works including 'Les Parlementaires et l'administration au Québec', which received the Prix de la Province de Québec, 1970. The family would like to thank the CLSC de Sainte-Foy staff, in particular Dr. Lucie Beaulieu and nurse Josée Brulotte, for the excellent care provided at home.
