Au Manoir Edith B. Pinet Paquetville, Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at the age of 74 years, died Cécile Duguay, wife of the late Mackenzie Duguay. She lived at Manoir Edith B. Pinet Paquetville and formerly of Notre-Dame-des-Érables. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Cormier and the late Laura Blanchard. She is survived by six son: Reynald (Anita Boucher), Raymond (Cécile Thériault), Serge (Sophie Duval), Claude (Petra Fafard), Yvon (Sarah Quenel) of Montreal and Jean-Guy (Duchaine Diane) of Val Doucet; nine daughters: Gisèle (Louis Lajoie) of Montreal, Linda (Michael McGraw) of Notre-Dame-des-Érables, Yvette Tracadie-Sheila, Marie-Jeanne de Pointe-à-la-Croix, QC, Diane (Odilon Roy) Saint-Amateur, Suzanne (Claude Gamache) Colinda (Ghyslain Crete), Gaetane (Sylvain Legault) and Nathalie (Alain Beaudry) of Montreal;five sisters: Yvonne (Ilia Roy), Thérèse (the late Théophile Haché) of Notre-Dame-des-Érables, Alexina (late Jean-Baptiste Godin) Paquetville, Anne-Marie (André Débalteau) Quebec and Jeanne (Henry Battah) Alberta; two brothers: Willey (Dorina Lajoie) and Romeo (Bella Gionet) of Notre-Dame-des-Érables, as well as 34 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. A son, Gerald, and his brothers and sisters, Rina, Evangeline, George, Midas, Leon, Ernest and Arthur, have predeceased. The remains of Mrs. Duguay will be exposed after 14h, Friday, February 24, at fair Paquetville Legresley. The funeral will be Monday, February 27, at 11 am in the Church of Our Lady Help of Notre-Dame-des-Érables. Interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. Donations to the family would be appreciated. Visiting hours are Friday, February 24, from 14h to 16h and 19h to 21h, Saturday, Feb. 25 from noon to 13:30 and Monday, February 27, from 9:30 to 10:30.Funeral arrangements were in the care of Legresley Funeral Home of Grand Anse.
