Madeleine Lachance Fortier Date of death: January 1, 2013 Benoit Fortier (Simone Rodier), Diane Fortier (Michel Pepin), Charles Fortier (Nicole Gamache) regret to announce the death of their mother Madeleine Lachance, which occurred on January 1, 2013. She was the wife of the late Raymond Fortier. She was also the mother of the late Guy (Céline Cusson), the late Ghislaine (Réal Sawyer), the late Pierrette (Donald Roy) and the late Nicole (Yvon Langelier). She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Germaine, Robert, Gabrielle, Jean Louis, Aline, Rolland, Benoit, Lucille and Marcel. Besides her children, she is survived by her 11 grandchildren, her 16 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Brigitte Croteau (late Marcel Lachance) as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. Madeleine will be exhibited at Funérarium Daniel Vachon Inc., 211 rue Lindsay, Drummondville, Friday, January 11 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The funeral service will be celebrated at St-Frédéric Church on Saturday January 12 at 3 p.m. On the day of the funeral, the parlor will open at noon.
