  [S5] Obituary. FOURNIER, Yvon - February 17, 1955 - January 8, 2014 Yvon Lionel Fournier passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. After a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Francine (Gamache). Loving father of Marcel (Méliza Laplante) and Lucie (Pascal Joly). Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Mya-May, Katelyn, Zoé, Edy and Mystelle. Dear brother of Nicole (Rhéal), Diane (Tom), Ginette (Linda), Jocelyne (Léonce). He will be sadly missed by numerous extended family members and friends. Predeceased by his parents Albert Fournier and Marie Rose Tremblay, his sisters Huguette Sabourin and Murielle Fournier. Special thanks to the Montfort Hospital staff, in the palliative care unit, Dr. Sophie Poliquin and the nurses who provided care in the comfort of his home. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of HULSE, PLAYFAIR & McGARRY, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) Monday January 13, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at Saint-Louis-Marie-de-Montfort Church, 749 Trojan Road, Ottawa, Tuesday January 14 at 11 am.
