Lucien Fortin 1924 - 2008 At Montmagny Hospital, on June 25, 2008, at the age of 84 years and 3 months, surrounded by the love and presence of all his family, passed away Mr. Lucien Fortin, husband of Dame Gilberte Thibault. He lived at the Résidence Marcelle Mallet in Cap-Saint-Ignace and formerly in St-Eugène de L'Islet. He was the father of: Maude, late Michel, Benoît (Marie-Andrée Gamache), Gilles (Nicole Duval), Régis. He also leaves to mourn his grandchildren: Mathieu, Jean-François and Vincent Trudel, Émilie and Guillaume Fortin, Alex and Laury Fortin, Kim and Jessie Duval; his brother, his sisters, his brothers-in-law and his sisters-in-law: late Clément (Marcelle Gaudreau), Dorval, Monique (Paul Caouette), Céline (late Jean-Louis Fournier), Isola (Henri Pelletier), Juliette (Robert Gaudreau ), Rosaire (Adrienne St-Pierre), Gabrielle (Fidèle Tardif); his sister-in-law from the Thibault family: Pierrette (Alban Normand); as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The members of his family will welcome you at the funeral home De la Durantaye & Fils 99, 7e Rue, L'Islet on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Monday, day of the funeral, from 12 p.m. The religious service will be celebrated on Monday, June 30, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. in the St-Eugène de L'Islet church, followed by burial in the parish cemetery.
