FONTAINE (Mr. René) On June 4, 2004, passed away at the Maria-Chapdelaine Center in Dolbeau-Mistassini, at the age of 81 years and 10 months, Mr. René Fontaine, husband of the late Mrs. Jeanne-Mance Gagné, residing at 169 Main Street, Girardville. Family members will receive relatives and friends at the Funérarium Hébert & Dion 181, rue Principale Girardville on Monday, June 7, 2004, from 7 to 10 p.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2004, from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2004, day of the funeral, starting at 9 a.m. The funeral of Mr. René Fontaine will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 9, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Notre-Dame de Lourdes church in Girardville. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. He is survived by his children: Denis (Gisèle Gamache), Léo (his ex-spouse Linda Roy), the late Louis, the late Pierre, Clément (Yolaine Bouchard), Jacques (Maria Pia Carbonara), André, Bruno (Elaine Murao), Suzanne (Michel Gaumond), Rosaire, Sylvie (Christian Rivard) and Martin; his 16 grandchildren, his brother Léandre (late Thérèse Landry) and his sister Cécile (late Léo Gourgues); his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Sylvio (Rose-Aline Tremblay), Paul-Emile (late Rita Tremblay), late Lucien (Rita Bolduc), late Joseph-Henri (Marie-Jeanne Côté), Marcel (Solange Duchesne), late Noël (Ginette Gagné), late Normand (Armandine Gagné) and Bernard (Imelda Grondin); as well as several nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
