WHALEN, Suzanne - 1948 - 2011. The family announces with sorrow her death on Monday February 14, 2011 at home at the age of 62 years. Loving wife of the late Kevin Whalen Sr. (2006). Dear mother of Andy (Ann) of London, Kevin Jr. (Christina) and Tina Gamache (Fern Jr.) all of Timmins. Sadly missed by grandchildren Kerry, Ashley, Samantha, Michael, Kyra and great- grandchildren, Zachary, Devin, Paige, and Jamie-Lee. Dear sister of Kathleen Rice (Ron) of Englehart, Bella Dittburner (Butch) of Garson, Paul Dupuis and Louise Leduc both of Timmins. Survived by many in-laws in the Whalen family. Predeceased by parents Roger and Cecile Dupuis. Suzanne will be remembered for her love of music, shopping and family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She worked at the Golden Manor for 26 years. Remembrance donations made to the Golden Manor would be appreciated. The funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. (noon) on Friday February 18, 2011 from the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME Chapel. Interment Timmins Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MIRON- WILSON FUNERAL HOME, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
