Louis-Marie Ducas 1925-2014 Marc-André Rioux Funeral Home Ltd. At the St-Joseph Residential Center, Rivière-du-Loup, on August 21, 2014, at the age of 88 years 8 months, passed away Mr. Louis- Marie Ducas, son of the late Mr. Joseph Ducas and the late Lady Alphonsine Mailloux. He lived in Rivière-du-Loup, formerly of Cacouna. The family will receive condolences at the Marc-André Rioux ltée funeral home, 16, de la Fabrique, Cacouna, on Thursday August 28, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. The religious service will be celebrated on Thursday August 28, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the church of Cacouna, and thence to the parish cemetery. He was the brother of: late Jeanne D'Arc, late Maria (late Paul Dionne), Marie-Paule (late Eugène Gamache). Also affected by his departure are his nephews and nieces, Nicole and Pauline Dionne (George); Ghislain, Louise (Richard) and Yvan Gamache, many cousins ??and other relatives and friends. It is comforting to think that in the most difficult times for Louis-Marie in recent years, he was surrounded by dedicated, loving and warm resources, showing empathy and compassion. A very special thank you to the employees and volunteers of the St-Joseph residence in Rivière-du-Loup, which he called ?his home?.
