Gilles Caron 1938 - 2017 At the Montmagny Hospital, on June 1, 2017, a few days before his 79th birthday, Mr. Gilles Caron, husband of Mrs. Colette Caouette, passed away. He was the son of the late Lady Lucie Bourgault and the late Mr. Léonce Caron. He lived in L'Islet. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Rachel (Daniel Dumont), René (Mélanie Bouchard) and Rémi (Brenda Gamache); his grandchildren: Krystel, Jérémy and Maxyme Caron; Marie-Jeanne and Kim Dumont. He was the brother and brother-in-law of: late Madeleine (late Philippe Bélanger), Marcelle (late Ferdinand Bélanger), late Fernande (Jean-Marie Fortin), Jeannine (Garnier Giasson), late Jean-Claude (Claudette Caron), Charles (Angéline Morin) and Jacqueline Caron (Réjean Kirouac); from the Caouette family: Jacques (Colette Dionne), Denise (Henri Thériault), Marcel, the late Gérard, Fernand (Danielle Guimont) and Gilbert (Hélène Gamache). Also affected by his departure are several nieces and nephews, his cousins, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the Montmagny Hospital as well as the home care staff at the Saint-Jean-Port-Joli CLSC for the good care provided and their courtesy.
