Capt. Yves Ménard 1925 - 2011 Capt. Yves Ménard, retired from the Canadian Coast Guard, husband of the late Madame Françoise Després and spouse of Dame Madeleine Carrier. Originally from L'Islet, he lived in Lévis. Besides his spouse Madeleine, he is survived by his daughter and his son-in-law Hélène (Raymond Gamache); his daughter-in-law Nathalie Cournoyer (late Yvan) (Sylvain De Grandpré); his grandchildren: Maude Gamache (Martin Pilote), Marie-Joëlle Gamache, Geneva and Olivier Ménard; the children of his spouse: Gaétan, Danielle, Denis, Fernand, Hélène Dumont and their spouse; his brother and sister-in-law Gilbert (Huguette Pelletier). He was also the brother and brother-in-law of: late Georgette (late Lucien Leclerc), late Paul (Louise Dugas), late Denise (late René Tailfer), late Pierre; of the Després family: late Jeanne, late René (Lucille Gagnon), late Yvette (Émile Cloutier), late Rolande (Henri Côté), late Denis (Kathleen Fontaine), late Claude, Armand (Denise Bouchard). He also leaves to mourn many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The religious service will be celebrated on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Notre-Dame-de-Bonsecours church in L'Islet. His ashes will be placed later in the parish cemetery.
