  [S5] Obituary. Cartier, Jacques 1923 - 2017 At Manoir Verdun, on December 1, 2017, at the age of 94, passed away Jacques Cartier. He is survived by his wife Madeleine Derome, his children Julie (Luc Jourdenais), François (Sylvie Gallant), Richard (Caroline Brunet), and Martin (Stéphanie Gamache), his grandchildren Mathieu, Dominic, Alexis, Étienne, Samuel and Éloïse, her sister-in-law Claire Tymen, her brother-in-law Bernard Derome (Lucille Doiron), nephews, nieces and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Côte-des-Neiges Funeral Center on December 16. A mass will follow in the chapel of the funeral complex. Indoor parking on site.
