Clément Chiasson (1936-2009)-At the Tracadie-Sheila Hospital, Saturday, January 3, 2009, at the age of 72, Clément Chiasson, husband of Bibiane Mallet, of Saint-Simon, died suddenly. Born October 12, 1936 in Saint-Simon, he was the son of the late Patrick Chiasson and the late Marie-Victorine Chiasson. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Christiane (Emmanuel Comeau) of Moncton; two sons: Steve (Cynthia Gionet) of Dieppe and Louis of Saint-Simon; three grandchildren: Justin, Janie and Anthony; three sisters: Rita (late Alban Hébert) of Saint-Simon, Alida (Arthur Mallet) of Bathurst and Victorine (Joël Gamache) of Longueuil, Qc; one brother, Fortunat (Armandine Doiron) of Saint-Simon; one sister-in-law, Lisa Landry (late Vital Chiasson) of Fredericton, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers: Térence, Alfred and Vital. The mortal remains will be on display beginning at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, at the Racicot Funeral Home in Caraquet. The funeral will be held at Saint-Simon de Saint-Simon Church on Wednesday, January 7, at 4 p.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery in the spring. Visiting hours: Tuesday, January 6, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, January 7, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral.
