Joncas, Ghislaine Castonguay 1941 - 2017 At her home, on June 23, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family, at the age of 75 years and 10 months, passed away Mrs. Ghislaine Castonguay, wife of the late Mr. Eugène Joncas. She was the daughter of the late Marcellin Castonguay and the late Adrienne Joncas. She lived in Sainte-Louise, L'Islet. Family members will welcome relatives and friends to receive condolences at the Sainte-Louise parish hall (Church sacristy) on Saturday, July 1, 2017, starting at 12:00 p.m. A religious ceremony will be celebrated in the parish hall at 2 p.m. and will be followed by the interment of the ashes in the parish cemetery. She is survived by her children: Daniel (Jeannine Bouchard), Jeannine (Laureal Gamache), Clément (Lucie Bois); his grandchildren: Sabrina Joncas (Jonathan Chouinard), Jonathan Bois (Andréanne Jean), Johannie Bois (Michaël Gosselin), Jason Joncas, William Joncas; his great-grandchildren: Isaac, Juliette, Jérémy. She was the sister and sister-in-law of: Carmen (late Roger Joncas), late Jean-Paul (Suzanne Gamache), Jean-Claude, Jean-Luc (Colette Joncas), Pauline (late Raymond Lajoie), Réal (Gaétane Deschênes ), Robert (Albertine Bélanger), late Paul-Émile (Johanne Mercier), Marie-France, Hélène (late Eddy Maheu), Marcellin (Marielle Bernier); and from the Joncas family: Jeannette (late Alphonse Lord), Hélène (late Armand Pellerin), Eustache (late Jeannine Joncas), late Jean (late Jacqueline Gagnon), late Adrien (Armande St-Pierre), Cléophase, late Julien. Also affected by his departure are several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the caregivers of the CLSC de Saint-Jean-Port-Joli home care services for their dedication, their attention and the quality of the care provided.
